Rink crews are still expected to move heavy goal frames across concrete, onto the ice, off the ice, and back again—sometimes multiple times in a single day.
We believed there had to be a better way. So we created a simple caster system that takes the heavy lifting out of the job.

An Idea is Born
As the manager of an ice rink for nearly ten years, I was always looking for ways to help make our facility run as smooth as possible. It wasn't until I put my back out that I knew I needed to find an easier way to pull our nets off of the ice during resurfacing. As anyone in the hockey community will tell you, hockey nets are heavy. Traditional NHL regulation nets can weigh as much as 121 pounds. Lifting them on and off of the ice throughout the day will take a toll on anyone.
Net Skates was born through simple problem-solving and a desire to make the job easier on myself and those I worked with. This solution has become a concept I am proud of, and one I am hoping finds its way into every rink.
